This eye cream from SANA has been renewed to include Pure Retinol to hydrate and firm the eye areas.
It uses a new combination of pure retinol and vitamin E derivative in addition to the original soymilk fermentation liquid from "Namaraka Honpo ". It can be incorporated into your daily skincare routine to help fight early signs of ageing, improve hydration elasticity in the delicate eye areas
Suitable for all skin types but particularly good for skin with aging concerns.
The SANA brand's main active ingredient is fermented soymilk that is rich in isoflavones, which have many skincare benefits.
Isoflavone is a chemical compound that belongs to a category of substances known as isoflavonoids. It occurs naturally in various plants such as soybeans. One of the most potent and commonly used forms of isoflavones is genistein.
Genistein can be readily found in soy, ginkgo Biloba extract, Greek oregano, and Greek sage.
Research studies on the efficacy of isoflavones as a skincare ingredient show it to provide antioxidant and anti-aging protection, as well as soothing and moisturizing properties, and may also increase collagen levels in the skin.
Its antioxidant protection helps to protect the skin by neutralizing free radicals present in the environment. By decreasing the number of reactive oxygen species found on the skin, isoflavone extract may work to reduce the damage caused by UVB-radiation. Those antioxidant compounds are also serious skin brighteners, helping to deliver a luminous and even-toned appearance.
Soy can also increase estrogen levels in the skin, which in turn helps keep the skin plump. Not only that, but soy also inhibits melanin from collecting in the top layer of skin, and this helps prevent uneven skin tone. It also helps to decrease skin redness so soy in skincare is also good to calm down irritated skin as well. Last but not least, soy could play a role in preventing surface-level water loss, thereby retaining moisture and keeping skin hydrated.
